FASHIONABLE ? …What IS NOT happening in Finland ...!!!. (more like Fashion disasters / offence's to the eye)

1)Haloo, before you get all pissy eyed with me over this! look in the mirror
2)accept the fact that English is also spoken here.

.... now ... as I've been listening to the women the last year in Finland ... and hell, actually looking AT the Men ! straight and or gay ! .... No wonder the women are hard nosed about the men here, they look like a fleet of trucks hit them, (accept the foreigners who live here, and actually understand what it means to look great ) ( what do you call a well dressed very handsome man in Finland ...? A TOURIST )

...but guys really ! .... have you looked in the mirror lately !!!.... the national uniform ( the sweat suit ) should have been retired in the 70's ..( oops, I heard from my cousin also saying, the sexual revolution by-passed Finland ... hell, I BELIEVE HER ! ) there's nothing wrong in being a bit, JUST A BIT better dressed(stop using the same underwear your grandfather bought, and its ok to use men’s cologne's these days there's nothing effeminate about it ....)

Guys, I mean really, ! the girls spend hours and weeks getting ready for you! ..and THEN YOU ARRIVE at the door!!! ... halloo ..and adding insult to injury, you say " mulla on oikeata viinaa mukana " (I've got real booze with me) well ... the only way that poor woman is going to survive THAT date IS BEING blitheringly drunk ! ...
( I dont blame her )

and guys !!! .... IF you have a decent head of hair ! GET A GREAT HAIRCUT ! ... and stop shaving it off, (and or looking like a brown american football) that went out with the bath and the baby in the bathwater! decades ago! ... HALLOOO ! ... only one in a million has the head shape & !!! the ATTITUDE to carry it off-shaved head, (the rest of you look like butt naked pigs slapped into the wall ... )

If your loosing your hair ..well, short crop cut ! .. Jean-Luke Piccard ( Star Trek - Next-Generation ) Might be a bench mark in a hair cut !
and when you go out ! .. 2 things, wear a sports jacket, shirt, t-shirt, jeans, great shoes ! .... and a nicer overcoat ! ...( they are available even from the flee markets ..!!!!!!!!) she'll like it ! AND !! when you walk into some pub, bar, restaurant, your also showing RESPECT to the owner of THAT place, hell they sweat away at those pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants to make it nice FOR YOU ! halloo ! SHOW THEM some RESPECT(even IF it is the corner neighborhood bar !) ... and maybe, just maybe !
at the end of the " DATE " the gal might invite you in for a " night cap " ... seeing that you've actually made the effort...

...and the gay men aren't far behind on THIS ONE in Finland ( halloo Tampere ! wake up ! ) GRUNGE was in the late 1980s early 1990's AND That got thrown out with it too ! .... ! ... Dress up guys ! ... bet he examples as they are on the rest of the planet !!

Finally, it's ok to look a little different, it's OK to dress well! ( better in your case ) Take some hints from the upscale shows your so clued into ! ...

and by the way, " FUKC-Buddies " is NOT a term we English speaking community find appropriate at all, you might learn a NEW ONE:
" FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS " ...
( Meaning, friends you have sex with )
Here's a term, I suspect you might not of heard here in Finland ... " Metrosexuals " it = Men who are straight and take care of themselves !!! ...
Finally, oh this is a doozer, .... IF you've been married for a while, do both of yourselves a favor ! ... start talking WITH each other ! ... instead of drowning yourself in the bottle of booze with the hockey game on the TV and women ! stop nagging your husbands/BF's ... so much ! ... say nice things to one another once in a while ...
that just might, open some new doors !

oh and ... my favorite thing I see on sites ... ( I HOWL ! )

Whats with this "Dame HIlda Hairdoo's" ...You don't have to look like, what his face's wife,Bradd Pitts wife ! to be beautiful! and so what if you have a few kilo's extra ! stop hating yourselves out the door! ... in a lot of cases, you earned every single one of those kilos, being house moms ! working to the bone running the family! since Men have a hard time with this ! ... YOU can look great and with out spending fortunes ! ... stop buying jackets/blouses 4 sizes too small, Hell ask me to come shopping with you! .

OH &.most of those sales staff here in Tampere have their thumbs up their asses and have no clue what their selling, nor have they ever learnt properly to outfit a women or a man ... all I have to do is watch what walks out of the stores.
... poor advertizing ..and SOKOS ... halloo!!! polyster ties in your windows, with black and red, black and red ... what disco nightmare did you come off of.. !
I want your cheap drugs ! ... SOSOS I can have Made to Maeasure made for your retail prices from my shops in Hong Kong and Look FAABULOUS ! ... ..

oh at Stockmans ... cry me be hezus ! ... interrupt a sales staff member for help !! ... Run while you can ! ....THEY GIVE YOU THE EVIL EYE ! so..

so gals ! If you look barely functional, no wonder the guy is gaagaying over the internet at the naked women ! ... halloo!!! ) You women, start being women again in your own right ! be proud of the fact your special ! ... and you are ! ...have fun dressing up for you! ... hell, the guys will catch on soon enough ! ( we hope )
